What is The Quiet Paris Guide?

The Quiet Paris Guide is a collection of intimate, English-language experiences that reveal Paris through its neighborhoods, independent specialists, local food and everyday rituals.

Rather than following a standard sightseeing route, guests discover a more personal and lived-in side of the city, through carefully chosen places, people and tastes.

It all started with a quiet impression

The Quiet Paris Guide was founded by Leopoldine Lejeune

“ For a long time, I have been drawn to the quieter side of Paris: the boulangerie that opens early, the shopkeeper who knows her customers by name, and the streets where local life continues beyond the crowds. The more I explored the city, the more I realized that the Paris I wanted to share was not only found in its landmarks. It was in the people, places, and rituals that give each arrondissement its character. I began to ask myself how I could help visitors experience that side of Paris in a more meaningful way.

Having lived and worked in France, the UK, and the United States, I have long been fascinated by how we discover cultures through their traditions, food, and everyday rituals. Before founding The Quiet Paris Guide, I earned a Master’s degree in Art Business from Claremont Graduate University and Sotheby’s Institute of Art in Los Angeles, and spent years working with design galleries in Los Angeles, London, and Paris. These experiences taught me that true luxury lies in attention, precision, and the art of subtle details.

Every experience reflects the way I love to explore Paris myself: slowly, thoughtfully and with a deep appreciation for the details that are easy to overlook.

My hope is that each walk leaves you with more than a beautiful memory. I want you to come away with a glimpse of the everyday life and character of Paris.

The Quiet Paris Guide is an extension of the way I love Paris: through its people, everyday pleasures and stories.”

Paris is often experienced through its landmarks, grand boulevards and famous addresses. But much of its character can be found in quieter moments: a conversation with an independent specialist, a neighborhood shop, a local product, or an everyday ritual that might otherwise go unnoticed.

The Quiet Paris Guide grew from that idea. Through intimate English-language walks, guests are introduced to specialist shops, local products and carefully chosen places.
